The human hand is irreplaceable and for this reason even today the pruning, thinning, harvesting and finishing work of the product are done exclusively by hand.

Our story

Entering the Ca’Lunga estate is like entering the house of Bacchus. The company was born in 1961 and its managemnet is now in thee third generation: Paolo Cassetta, the current owner, with is father and grandfather’s advices, combined with the professionalism of the agronomist and the oenologist he has decided to use from the beginning, started a modernization plan of the company, began with an accurate an in-depth study of the pedo-climatic characteristic of the various farm lands. At the end, total reconversation of 12 hectars of property took place with high intensity and low production
plants per line.

The choise of the vines went to those that best suited the type of the land and climate, as they result from the studies carried out. A more in-depth research has merited the Albana and the Sangiovese, vines that the company has decided to enchance. The path, combined with the best and the most sought-after winery technologies has led to elevate the quality and value of its wines. Wood is only used to enchance the characteristics of the company’s most important wines and does not want to be the prevailing element, but only impovement. The Cassetta family, however, has not forgotten that the best teacher is tradition, which teaches us to pay attention to all the various stages of evolution of the life of the product, from the plant to the bottle.
